The verified badge means a realtor's identity and professional credentials have been personally checked by our team. This article explains how the process works: who qualifies, what we ask for, and what the badge does and doesn't guarantee.
Who is eligible
Verification is available only to accounts with a realtor role — individual realtors and agency members. To apply, you need:
- 20 or more deals submitted on the platform
- A complete profile: name, photo, and contact details
When both conditions are met, a verification card appears on your profile page. Before submitting, check that your name is written correctly in all three languages (English in the EN tab, Russian in RU, Georgian in KA) and matches your identity document. Name mismatches are the most common reason verification takes longer than it should.
How the process works
- You submit your profile. You receive an email confirming the request and listing the documents to prepare.
- We contact you — within a few days, through the contacts listed in your profile.
- You send the required documents.
- We review them, typically within a few days of receiving everything.
- You receive the badge. It appears next to your name, and your deals show under the Verified filter.
Your profile remains fully editable while the review is in progress.
What documents we request
1. Identity document. A photo of your passport, residence permit, or driver's license — any official document with your photo and full name. The details must match your profile.
2. Work permit (foreign citizens only). A valid permit authorizing real estate activity in Georgia.
3. Deal documents. We select a few of your submitted deals and ask for supporting evidence: a cadastral code of the sold property, a registry application number, or another document confirming the transaction.
What happens to your documents
We do not store your documents. After the review, we keep only two facts: the date verification was completed and the expiration date of the work permit — so we know when to ask for a renewed one. Once the review is finished, you can delete the documents from the chat for both sides. The details are in our privacy policy.
What the badge means — and what it doesn't
Verification confirms who the realtor is: their identity, their credentials, and that a sample of their deals was confirmed with documents. It does not mean we have audited every deal they submit. Deal data on the platform is provided by users, and we are open about that — buyers should always do their own due diligence.
Verification also isn't a one-time event. To keep the data on the platform reliable, we periodically ask realtors — including verified ones — to confirm deals with documents, and that applies to new deals submitted after the badge was granted. A deal that cannot be confirmed may be removed from the platform, and if a realtor repeatedly submits data they cannot substantiate, the badge itself can be withdrawn. In practice this is rare; the point of the system is that the Verified filter stays meaningful.
If your personal details change — your name or your work permit — let us know so your verification stays current.
What verification gives you
- User trust. A verified profile serves as a confirmed reputation: visitors open such profiles more often and are more likely to reach out
- The verified badge next to your name across the site
- Priority in leaderboards over realtors with the same number of deals
- Your deals appear under the Verified filter on the main page
To apply, open your profile and submit it for review.
